We had a dramatic sky this evening.  Had .33 hundredths of an inch of rain today.  With one evening super-bolt of lightning about 3 miles away.

IT RAINED ON FIRST OFFICAL MONSOON DAY!

They changed the monsoon season from a dewpoint base to a day base.  This extended the monsoon season longer than any dewpoint one is likely to go.  There are many years when the monsoon season would not start until July.  But magically yesterday there was lightning, thunder and light rain on the very first day of the new and improved monsoon season.
